(all but the japanese kids anyway)..... whereas many white kids who had been born and raised here were not accepted at all in most circles.....

some of the teachers (AJA mostly)...made it even worse by treating white kids differently...constantly talking trash about white people in class right in front of those kids .. ..i saw it and didn;t like it at all... ... especially when after being here a year or so and ending up orphaned ... a white family took me in.....

caitlin clark proves you don;t have to be smart or even have a working brain to be a star athlete..... that;s really sad coz many parents will make her a role model for their kids.....
 
I don't remember her ever claiming to be a champion of conservatism. She is an accomplished athelete who became a target for the mob and was persecuted for being white and exceptional. She was never in it for the fight. So everyone just calm down.

Who says she caved? In anything I've posted about Clark, it was the way she was being treated and the Leftist reporting on her performance and on her audience. Never about anything she said. She only always commented on the game. Who knows what her politics were?

It's y'all that made her your champion.

And even if she did cave, so what? I doubt anyone commenting on her would stand as well under the kind of pressure she's found herself.

see?... that;s just the kind of negative invalidating comment that makes you so special to other members of the forum....... .you dont know what kind of pressure any of us have faced... . what was at risk if we caved... and what might have been an even bigger risk for staying true and facing retaliation..... yet you make a broad and negative assumption anyway... ... ... ...admit it... you are just a chronic doubter with a pathetic outlook on christians.... .. note i did not say fellow christians... because i don;t believe you are one....... in my book you are still a fraud.. .... and as things are you always will be........

Did Clark ever actually claim to be politically conservative? Or did the trajectory of her life just go in a direction that got her conservative sympathies?

As I recall, Kyle Rittenhouse wasn't particularly conservative either, back in 2020. But, similarly, his particular situation struck a chord with anti-Antifa/BLM, pro-2A people.

rittenhouse actually enrolled in arizona state university... which is pretty liberal... (i am a fan of their softball team.... the sun-devils) ...when they found out about it student groups there rallied trying to get him expelled before classes even started... :confused:. ....the college allowed him to stay but he ended up dropping out later.. ... too bad the "men playing in womens sports" thing hadn;t started yet... they could have put him on the softball team and gotten back into the winners column.... 😜

My understanding is she was never conservative, and maybe leaned a bit left. That’s just info I’ve read online based on “likes” she’s given to some liberal causes (on X or Facebook or whatever).

She doesn’t have to be conservative in order to not bemoan her ‘white privilege’ whatever that means in this context. It is a PC statement made deliberately in order to bow to the woke mob.

That's my point, though. Who's to say she isn't part of the woke mob? Maybe she just doesn't score quite as high in the Oppression Olympics.

The timing is suspect, in my opinion.
She’s been in the spotlight for years and now she bows? I believe it’s a calculated move…and shows she might have a tin ear when it comes to reading the culture. She has been attacked by both sides since her cave.

Which is why I suggest she's part of the mob. Other people know never to kowtow to them. It's the ones who want to ingratite themselves with the supposedly oppressed in-group, who make statements acknowledging their "privilege" and, moving forward, promising to "do the work" of being a good ally and "dismantling" systems of "oppression."

They haven't learned that the grovelling doesn't work, and just makes them look like sellouts to both sides.
